My car was informative a few days ago too. It said "-11 degrees. Risk of ice." It's a good job it told me - I wouldn't have realised otherwise!
Merry Christmas, Snafu. This world is full of redundant information. We don't have that kind of instrument in our car. If we did it certainly wouldn't say ice, but it might say floods!
