First Frost of the Autumn

This was the view from our bedroom window first thing today.  It is the roof of my car, which had been left outside overnight.  Jack frost has been busy painting his patterns.
Soon be winter.

  1. Soon be winter?...Oh no, don't say such things, Snafu! Our winter is really nothing by most standards, but I think I'm just programmed to react to the word winter after our years in Toronto and Minnesota. I dread winter.

  2. Pretty - but scary. I hate frost and ice because of the distances I drive to and from work.

  3. Jack Frost is quite the artist! He's been around here recently, too, although yesterday the temps went up to 19 degrees and no need for a jacket again. No wonder we are all wandering around sniffing and sneezing! I must try JF's design in a tangle.

  4. Frost. Noooo. Winter is fast approaching. Still, we get to see pretty pictures like these!

  5. What fab patterns! I haven't seen any frost where I am yet - not looking forward to trying to de-ice the car. The key is getting up earlier, I presume. Not looking forward to doing that, either!
